Free Shipping Policy Changes – Store Operational Changes
As New York begins a phased reopening, Divinitea will begin adjusting its operations. As an essential service, we remained open throughout the NY pandemic response. However, our Halfmoon store was open only to call ahead curbside pickup or online orders.
The following operational changes will begin Tuesday May 26th: our website free shipping threshold to all US customers will return to $50+. We are now introducing a First Class Mail option for orders under 1lb. This will result in lower shipping costs for customers ordering 2oz – 8oz of tea. As this is a new feature, we may adjust our First Class rates until we reach the most accurate shipping quote on orders. Please note that our shipping quotes include the weight of the packaging material.
Otherwise our online store operations and wholesale operations remain normal
Regarding our Halfmoon location, we remain open only for call ahead curbside pickup. While we are technically allowed to open our doors at this time to in store traffic, we have chosen to maintain curbside pickup to minimize risk to customers and staff. We do not have a specific date or metric when we will decide to allow customers inside our store. However, when we have made a determination to open our doors to in store traffic, we will update our customers via our newsletter, blog, and social media.
