Organic Spiced Apple Cider Recipe

If you haven’t had hot mug of organic mulled cider, you’re missing out on a magical autumn beverage. This will lift your spirits on a cold day and help keep you healthy:


  • 1 quart organic cider (try your local health food store for certified organic)
  • 2 Tbs. Organic Mulling Spice
  • 1 cup dark rum (optional)
  • Cinnamon stick and apple or orange slices for garnish


Pour 1 quart cider into a large saucepan. Place 2 Tbs. Organic Mulling Spice inside a large tea bag and tie off the end. Place the tea bag in the saucepan and gently simmer for 20 minutes. Remove from heat and remove tea bag. For the adult version, add 1 cup dark rum. Serve and enjoy! Garnish with an apple slice and cinnamon stick.

Note: If you don’t have a tea bag, just place the mulling spice loose in the saucepan and strain out after you’re done simmering. Also, consider adding a splash of organic cranberry juice for a little tart.
